Chief Executive Li Jiachao announced that special customs clearance arrangements will be implemented during the Lunar New Year next month. From the 30th to the 4th day of the Lunar New Year, that is, from February 9 to 13, for five consecutive days, passengers and vehicles at Shenzhen Bay Port can clear customs 24 hours a day.
As for the Lo Wu Port, on the eve of the Lunar New Year and the second day of the Lunar New Year, that is, February 9 and February 11, the opening and closing hours will be extended to 2 a.m., and the MTR East Rail Line services will also be extended accordingly.
Li Jiachao said that when the Luohu Port is extended, the railway can be used to pick up a large number of passengers to leave the country and disperse the flow of people who originally took cross-border passenger vehicles.
