Shelling of the Sumy region – the Russian military fired 230 shells in a day

During the day, Russian troops fired more than 230 mines and shells of various calibers in the Sumy region. Five communities suffered: Znob-Novgorodskaya, Novoslobodskaya, Velikopisarevskaya, Belopolskaya, Khotynskaya.

In the morning, a massive shelling began on the Znob-Novgorod community using phosphorus and flash shells, a total of 120 shots were recorded. As a result, one car burned down.

At about 10 am in the Novoslobodskaya community, mortar shelling damaged two private houses, a public transport stop and a power line. At noon, in the Velikopisarevskaya community, after a mortar arrival, a residential building caught fire.

Around 19.00 on the outskirts of Velyka Pisarevka, an enemy drone dropped ammunition, the consequences are being specified. At 20:00, the Russians began to “hit” with mortars on the territory and the premises of the Ata psycho-neurological boarding school. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out in the dining room of the institution, the administrative building and the hostel were destroyed. Three casualties are reported.
