Sheep can reduce the use of chemicals in vineyards – Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district

A project group from the Rottenburg University of Applied Sciences, the Freiburg State Viticulture Institute and the University of Freiburg is researching how to work with sheep in the vineyard. The researchers are convinced: The animals contribute to the preservation of biodiversity and reduce the use of pesticides. The Slow Food initiative has now awarded the project a prize.
