The spring of 2020 came a few days ago to our lives but winter will appear again in the next days despite having ended and having been one of the warmest in memory. The regions of Cazorla and Segura have been this morning under yellow warning for snowfall and this is just a warning of what is to come from Monday as the State Meteorological Agency has advanced that foresees a sharp drop in temperatures due to the arrival of cold air masses which will also bring rain.
This Saturday a sharp drop has already been noted and that is that In safe towns such as Santiago Pontones, mercury has not risen above six degrees Celsius. and the level of snow has been located at 1,500 meters high, leaving a white blanket in different villages of this extensive municipality in the province.
Sunday
Tomorrow will be a quiet day waiting for the changes that will come with the new week. The forecast points to cloudy intervals while the cloudiness will gain space as the hours pass. In addition, the maximums will rise, which will allow for a softer environment, going up to 11 degrees maximum in some mountain towns or 21 in warmer places such as Andújar, passing through 18 in the capital.
Monday
The clouds will cover the sky of the entire province leaving Rain that will be more intense in the afternoon when a 95% chance is expected of showers although in Jaén it will stay at 75%. The thermometer will still hold and the highs will range from 20 to 11 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday
The second day of the week We will have a feeling of mid-winter again even though the calendar marks March 31, the last day of the first quarter. The precipitations will be generalized from East to West and from North to South in the Jaén territory and the cold will be more intense since it will not exceed 5º in the Sierra de Segura or of the 15 in other warmer areas.
Wednesday
We will release the month of April without great news regarding the last day of March although the snow level will drop to 1,500 meters high. The rains will continue to be the protagonists as well as the low temperatures that will remain unchanged from the previous day.
Thursday
Thursday will be the last day of this winter in April snow from 1300 meters. The percentage of showers is reduced to 45% while the thermometer will go back down with minima below zero in high areas and highs that will be around 4 to 15 degrees. On Friday stability will return with less clouds and more heat.
