Channel 14 announced today (Thursday) that presenter Sharon Gal finally stayed on the channel, even though he had already announced his departure to Channel 13. “We are happy to announce that Sharon Gal remains on Channel 14 and will present the 19:00 segment, and we wish him success.”
However, as mentioned according to the announcement, Gal will not continue to present the central fire, together with Maggie Tabibi. As you may remember, Gal caused a stir after the announcement of his departure. Channel 14 announced that he was under contract, which was probably the main reason for his surprising stay. Although Channel 14 has not yet released it – Channel 13 presented today in a toast to the employees the programs for the coming period, and Sharon Gal’s new program was officially presented in the presentation.
As previously stated, Gal worked at the network for a total of 14 years, even before the merger of Channel 10 with Reshet and presented there programs such as “Lila Calcal” and “Five with Sharon Gal” from 2020 until his departure in 2023. This announcement comes after another dramatic transition that happened at the channel in the recent period, when Eyal Berkowitz, as you remember, left “Keshet 12” and moved to the network after years of presenting alongside Ofira Assig, when according to estimates he will earn about NIS 200,000 a month.
