Shalimov – about his words about parasites: “I had in mind my football players”

Akhmat head coach Igor Shalimov explained the meaning of his words about people complaining about a lack of money in conditions of self-isolation.

Earlier Shalimov recorded video on instagram, where he called the parasites those who “want to do nothing and get money.” He invited them to choose a different profession and stated that “everyone who whines today lives better than the homeless.” Shalimov concluded that he did not understand why to help such people. He later deleted the video from his page.

“People need to be friends with humor!” I did not mean those who feel bad at all. I meant my football players. And yet, if I speak seriously and in a mask, this does not mean that I am not joking, ”said Shalimov in an interview with Sport24 correspondent Vladislav Flegontov.
