Shadowlands postponed, pre-patch October 13

Both good news and bad news for players of World of Warcraft: the latest expansion Shadowlands has been postponed to an unspecified date later this year. On the other hand, Blizzard has announced a release date for the pre-patch: October 13. In the pre-patch, players can already test the new abilities of classes and some systems are already being added, such as the new customization for races and the renewed leveling.

Blizzard indicates that it needs more time to polish up a number of things, with final content being mentioned as an explicit example. The other features such as the campaign for the covenants, the storyline and the zones in which leveling takes place – Bastion, Maldraxxus, Revendreth and Ardenweald – are already ready.
