The presentation of the Golden Globes – very important American film awards – took place on January 11 and brought together many Hollywood stars. Michelle Pfeiffer, Jamie Lee Curtis, Collin Farrelle and Brendan Gleeson, among others, were in attendance at the event and all planned to attend the Critics Choice Awards later in the week. But to be allowed in during that last event, everyone had to submit a negative corona test. And that went terribly wrong with the four stars above. They all tested positive for corona.
“I’m so sorry I’m going to miss the Critics Choice Awards today,” Michelle Pfeiffer wrote on Instagram. “Yes, Covid. I am particularly disappointed because I will not see Jeff Bridges receive his Lifetime Achievement Award now.” In addition to Michelle, actress Jamie Lee Curtis also complains: “The biggest cheerleader won’t be there this year to cheer on everyone, unfortunately.” For now, however, only four stars have tested positive. Whether the unfortunates contracted corona during the Golden Globes cannot be confirmed.
