Mobile phone operator Vodafone has announced that it will renew its roaming charges in Europe in January 2022. EE has also announced such a step in advance.

It should be recalled that in the European Union, roaming charges were completely abolished in 2017, saving holidaymakers and business travelers several million pounds a year.

However, this condition is not included “Brexi“agreement between the United Kingdom and the EU.

Ahmend Essam, UK chief executive at Vodafone, said most of the company’s customers do not roam on a regular basis.

The condition will apply to customers who will start using the company’s services on August 11 or to those who change the tariff plan after that date. Users of existing tariff plans will not be charged this fee for the time being.

The eight- and 15-day plan will pay for this service at £ 1 a day.
