The new disadvantage pushes Allegri to a more offensive setup with Chiesa in place of Kostic, but the equalizer comes from a defender: the free-kick from the edge succeeds perfectly, Di Maria touches for Danilo with the barrier that opens and it’s 3- 3. The coach therefore chooses to change the attacking pair, focusing on Miretti-Kean, and in the final he also relaunches Cuadrado, who will make his debut in 2023. The result does not change anymore, Juve and Atalanta stop after six goals: the bianconeri rise to 23 but remain in the tussle in the middle of the standings, the Nerazzurri are overtaken by Roma and slip to fifth place outside the Champions League area.
