He CN Barcelona has been removed from the Men’s Champions of water polo and will be the Red Star of Belgrade who plays the group stage after being champion of group A that is played in Hanover (Germany).
Barcelona will play the Euro Cup, as second and third classified in this group at the expense of knowing their result this Sunday against Apollon Smyrnis (10:30 am)
Red Star has qualified after winning its four games, the last two this Saturday against Apollon Smyrnis (12-10) and Waspo Hannover (6-14) and has 12 points.
The Catalans are second with 6 points after two wins against Waspo Hannover (9-11) and Honved Budapest (9-8) and the decisive defeat against Red Star (9-14).
Atlètic Barceloneta and CN Sabadell will be the two Spanish representatives in the Champions League group stage
