Trying to help for the social emergency situation experienced by many families, the SER Galicia radio stations took to the streets to demand the attention of their listeners and make effective the Kilos of Solidarity campaign that we carry out together with the Carrefour Solidarity Foundation and the Red Cross . Live, we carry out programs and connections with the established points in the Carrefour Hypermarkets, As Cancelas in Santiago, Alfonso Molina and Rosales in Coruña, in Vigo Carrefour Travesía and Gran Vía Shopping Center, San Blas Salcedo in Pontevedra and also in Carrefour Lugo and Ourense , from where the main announcers and programs of the Galician stations insisted on the importance of citizen collaboration for this action. Last Thursday, Friday and Saturday, located at the exit of the Carrefour centers, more than 55 tons of food were collected, especially insisting on non-perishable products and basic necessities, which can be very useful for the sector more disadvantaged, going through the Covid-19 pandemic.
