September 14 Alzheimer Café Houten, register visitors in advance | Houtens News

WOODEN For the first time since March, the Alzheimer Café will open its doors again. General practitioner Valentijn Deijns is the first guest speaker of this new season. He shares his personal experience with dementia in his family and informs visitors about what they can expect from the GP from the first visit until well after the diagnosis. He talks about guiding carers and arranging the necessary help and is especially happy to answer the questions of the visitors.

The volunteers of the Alzheimer Café Houten are very happy to be able to receive visitors again. On Monday 14 September, coffee and tea will be available from 7 pm in the Huis van Houten, Onderdoor 160, above the library on the first floor in the orange room. ”

The program starts at 7.30 pm, entrance is free, anyone interested in the subject of dementia is welcome, there is room for a maximum of 20 people. Visitors must register in advance with name and telephone number at Wendy Werner, coordinator Alzheimer Café Houten, tel. 06-41812112.
