Kim Gil-ri (Seo Hyun-go), a Korean short track skater, won the gold medal in the women’s relay in the second World Cup and won two gold medals after winning the 15m trophy on day before.
Gil-ri Kim, Kim Geon-hee (Dankook University) and Seo Hwi-min (Korea University) in the final of the women’s 3,000m relay race of the International Skating Federation (ISU) 2022-2023 Second Short Track World Cup held at Utah Oval Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA on 7 (Korean time)) and Shim Seok-hee (Seoul City Hall), with a record of 4: 04: 016, beat Canada (4: 04.137) and Italy (4: 05.538) to reach the top.
Kim Gil-ri, who had previously won gold in the 1,500m on 6, scored two gold medals by winning the relay that day.
Min-jeong Choi (Seongnam City Hall) of the national ‘ace’ won the silver medal in second place after Jandra Belzebur (Netherlands) in the final of the second women’s 500m race that day.
