In the 2019 presidential election, Rustriningsih reappeared with a consistent attitude towards his choice, Prabowo-Sandiaga Uno.
The relationship between Ganjar Pranowo and PDIP management is currently in the public spotlight. Pacul admitted that he did not invite Ganjar to an internal PDIP Central Java event that presented Puan Maharani because he was not sympathetic to Ganjar, who was seen as ambitious about advancing as a presidential candidate in 2024.
