I Maneskin higher and higher in the world rankings and, two months after the victory at Eurovision 2021, they will be honored by Rome, the city where they were born and raised. Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis, Ethan Torchio and Thomas Raggi, are the characters of the moment.
With their music, after conquering Italy by winning the Sanremo Festival 2021 with the song Zitti e Buoni, they conquered Europe by winning theEurovision Song contest 2021 thus giving Italy the opportunity to organize the 2022 edition and now they are conquering the international market, including the American one where the Beggin cover and the song “I wanna be your slave” are driving everyone crazy.
Rome, the city where they also began to take their first steps in music, has decided to pay homage to them.

On Spotify they are in fifteenth place in the ranking among the most listened to artists and the video clip of the song “I wanna be your slave” whose meaning was made known by the Maneskins themselves, published on Your Tube, released on July 15, has already garnered 20 million views.

Rome, the city where Damiano Victoria, Ethan e Thomas they were born and where they started making music dreaming of becoming rock stars and taking their first steps playing in Via del Corso, they decided to pay homage to its “illustrious and deserving” citizens.

On Tuesday 27 July, at 11 am, the mayor of Rome Virginia Raggi will receive the Maneskins at the Campidoglio and will give them the Capitoline she-wolf, the recognition that, as she says DireGiovani.it, “Roma Capitale pays tribute to illustrious personalities and particularly deserving artists”.
The Maneskins will arrive at the Capitol at around 10 am on July 27 and, before the start of the ceremony, with Virginia Raggi, they will look out from the balcony overlooking the Imperial Forums.
