The new season for the Cannes team did not go well from the beginning. The volleyball players played so badly that they took the last place in the table of the basic phase, with 6 games won and 20 losses. At the same time, he quickly emphasized that the team was plagued by numerous injuries, and later there were also disputes with the league authorities about the transfers of new ones volleyball players.

The activists of the club Keeping in the elite tried to save, among others just through transfers during the games. The team of French champions will be joined in this way by, among others known for their performances in PlusLiga Nikolai Penchev and Ronald Jiménez.
