A burning semi-trailer truck caused significant obstructions on the A17 on Friday morning. The autobahn was in the direction of Dresden for several hours from the Südvorstadt junction. According to the MDR traffic service, there was also smoke in the Dölzschen tunnel from the fire. The truck began to burn in the tunnel. However, the driver managed to drive his vehicle outside. On the diversion route, the B170, the traffic temporarily jammed until shortly before the main station.
The truck burned out completely for a reason that has not yet been clarified.
