PEKANBARU, KOMPAS.TV – Surya, the husband of a young woman who admitted that she was raped in Riau, said she did not accept the accusation that he forced his wife to lie about the rape case.
“All that happened, my wife has spoken to me. This behavior has been done many times. Suddenly this is the conclusion. Aren’t you surprised? I don’t know anything,” said Surya to the media crew on Wednesday (12/22/2021).
ZU’s husband denied that he had sacrificed many things to get justice for his son’s death related to the rape case.
“I’ve tried everything. I sold everything to fight for all of this. My son died, I want to know the chronology of how my child died,” said Surya.
He also denied that he forced his wife to lie by claiming to have witnesses and evidence of ZU’s confession.
“I’ve tried everything, it’s impossible (lie). Mr. RT, my father, all the recordings contain all of his complaints (about rape) which surprised me,” said Surya.
In fact, Surya admitted that he had intended to punish those whom his wife called the perpetrators of rape.
“Until I want to act alone, I want to kill all those perpetrators. I just gave it up and handed it over to the police,” said Surya.
“I’m selling a refrigerator. My son’s grave was dismantled, I was willing. The result of my struggle is this conclusion. Doesn’t it hurt?” he added.
