After stabbing his father last August 11 and being a fugitive from justice for six days, Hernán “Nano” Calderón Argandoña was admitted yesterday to a psychiatric clinic in the La Reina commune. But the Carabineros OS-9 arrived there and today it will be formalized for the crime of frustrated patricide.
In this way, the investigation in charge of the Eastern Prosecutor’s Office enters the right ground to determine the participation in the attack with a knife that he inflicted on his father, Hernán Calderón Salinas, who resulted in a six-centimeter deep cut in one of his hands. .
One of the tests that the Public Ministry has today to fix “Nano” at the scene of the event are two videos that show the entrance and exit of the building where Hernán Calderón Sr. resides and that reveals Radio Bío Bío.
The elevator
This is how the moments before the attack happened. At 4:09 pm on August 11, the young and influencer Hernán Calderón Argandoña boarded the elevator of the building, where his father’s residence is located in the Las Condes district.
Armed with a black mask, yellow shirt, jeans, sneakers and carrying a bag, he marked the floor and the doors were closed. After a few seconds, a second person came up and even said a cordial goodbye before going down. But “Nano” is still talking on the phone. He closes the door, cuts the call, fixes his clothes, looks in the mirror, touches his pockets checking if something is in place, opens the door and leaves.

Inside the house, everything happened quickly: screaming, scribbling, struggling and a deep cut involving two tissue in his right hand, according to the complaint filed by the victim against his son before the Fourth Guarantee Court of Santiago , for the crime of frustrated patricide.
But there is a striking fact, because after the attack, “Nano” leaves the place. Board the same elevator as if nothing had happened. He no longer has the bag he was carrying at the beginning, but the yellow shirt is bloody.
The young man presses the button, the doors are closed, he uses his phone and takes a selfie wearing his father’s blood and it seems that he sends it on WhatsApp. She looks in the mirror again and disappears from the scene, according to a second recording accessed by this medium.

After the attempted patricide, the Carabineros raided the house of the “Nano” on August 11 and found a Glock 9 mm pistol, a Maverick 12-gauge shotgun and another with the same characteristics, Hatcan brand and a Colt rifle, all for sports and duly registered.
For six days the young man was a fugitive from justice, but yesterday he appeared in the El Cedro psychiatric clinic, in the commune of La Reina, where his lawyer, Mario Vargas came to visit him to provide legal advice, since the images show him your client at the scene.
In parallel, the case yesterday entered the judicial field. The victim filed a complaint for frustrated parricide before the Fourth Guarantee Court of Santiago. In it he recounts how he was attacked by his son, who allegedly harassed his girlfriend and a millionaire debt of more than $ 11 million.
Back, the partner of “Nano” did the same with a legal action in the same court, for alleged repeated sexual abuse that occurred in the department. This investigation will run on a different rope from that of the knife attack.
