More than 150 beneficiaries of the entity have been oriented and channeled in 2023
Morelia, Michoacán, November 28, 2023.- Through the dissemination and recruitment of more than 150 beneficiaries in 2023, the Secretariat of Substantive Equality and Development of Michoacan Women (Seimujer), promotes and accompanies the “Fuerza Mujer” program, which has managed to support 2,700 women from the entity.
Within the framework of the “Crece Fuerza Mujer” Conference, the head of the agency, Carolina Rangel Gracida, recalled that this program, which operates the Comprehensive Financing System for the Development of Michoacán (Yes Financia), promotes the economic autonomy of the women as a development tool for themselves and their families, as well as to break cycles of violence.
“In a world where inequalities persist, it is our responsibility as defenders of justice and equality to implement policies that empower women who have been systematically violated, particularly in the economic sphere, since economic dependence is often a “one of the most common reasons why many women remain in violent environments,” she noted.
Before representatives of the business sector, Rangel Gracida recalled that through Seimujer, beneficiaries from the entire entity have been attracted, through the accompaniment of Sí Financia led by Areli Gallegos Ibarra, to various events and municipalities such as Ixtlán, Irimbo, Sahuayo and Tuxpan .
In addition, he concluded, of the information modules that accompanied Seimujer in the regional and gynecological conferences in Quiroga, Zamora, La Piedad, Charo, Múgica, Capula, Arteaga, Tepalcatepec and, in a very relevant way, the community of Sevina, where the first day with indigenous women.
