Myriam Malucelli took the victory during the National Circuit Veterans 3 at the Epée Dames in Thionville.
A first for her and for the Seichamps-Saint-Max-Essey club, which had never had a first place on the national circuit, in all categories.
The shooter is a regular on the podiums but the break she took last year certainly gave her even more fighting spirit to be able to go all the way.
After a solid group round, Myriam ranks 7e of the direct elimination table. She eliminates her competitors one by one, including the favorite Reguigne with a score of 8-7 in the quarter-finals thanks to excellent tactical management of the clock.
She then won the final more easily on the score of 10 hits to 6.
A victory augurs well 2 and a half months before the European Veterans Championships which will take place again in Thionville. A podium that Myriam knows well!
