Ségur de la santé: upgraded careers

The second stage of Health Segur agreements is on the way, she plansa upgrading of careers for paramedical caregivers.

It therefore intervenes in the continuity of the Ségur de la santé agreements, signed on July 13, 2020 by the Prime Minister, the Minister of Solidarity and Health as well as by a majority of trade unions in order to modernize the health system and improve the daily lives of caregivers. Among other things, the agreements provided for a revaluation of all public sector personnel by 183 euros net per month.

The second stage aims to give prospects for salary changes for caregivers who live up to their commitment and attract new generations to care professions made more attractive. According to the government, this would represent a financial investment of 740 million euros.

More specifically, the salary of a general care nurse after one year of career was 1,736 euros net per month and 2,863 euros at the end of his career. With the application of Ségur, the salary will evolve from 2,026 euros at one year of career to 3,398 euros net per month at the end of it, i.e. the 183 euros of salary increase of Ségur plus the sum for the upgrading of the grids of the category concerned, category A in this example. Likewise, a caregiver at the end of his career earned 2,303 euros net per month while he will now receive 2,954 euros.

These changes will come into effect on October 1, 2021. for the hospital civil service while it will be necessary to wait until early 2022 for the territorial civil service, the State civil service and the private sector.
