Sega will bring more games to PC thanks to the success of Persona 4 Golden

Atlus and Sega have been testing the waters of PC adding more games to this platform. But, thanks to the unexpected success it had Persona 4 Golden, companies are more animated than ever.

According to the portal GamesIndustry.biz, Sega published its financial report and an increase in revenue was evidenced in products aimed at PCs due to the pandemic caused by the Coronavirus. Although much of it is due to the more than 500,000 copies sold of Persona 4 Golden, other older titles also saw increases in their sales.

In an official statement, Sega will strongly promote the adaptation of other titles it owns to sell on Steam. “Under this direction, we would like to have a cross-platform approach and prepare the PC versions from scratch,” said Sega.

For fans around the world, this is music to your ears. Sega, and especially Atlus, had never chosen to take their games beyond the PlayStation ecosystem. This was evident in games like Person, and more recently, Yakuza. Watching these games on PC is something fans have long been asking for.

It remains to be seen what titles Sega will bring to the loyal fans of the “Master Race”. The more alternatives to play, the better.
