Seeing Suharto’s Tutut Debt Chased by the BLBI Task Force

Task Force for Handling State Collection Rights for Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance Funds (Satgas BLBI) plans to collect payment obligations dana country to Siti Hardianti Rukmana or who is familiarly called Tutut.

This collection plan is stated in the BLBI Fund State Collection Rights Handling Document dated April 15, 2021, which is currently circulating in the public. In the document, the name of the son of the 2nd President of Indonesia, Suharto, is included in the seven priority obligors or debtors of the BLBI Task Force.

Billing to Tutut for granting state funds to PT Citra Cs, which consists of PT Citra Mataram Satrimarga, PT Marga Nurindo Bhakti, and PT Citra Bhakti Margatama Persada.

“Obligor or debtor Siti Hardianti Rukmana. Outstanding debts of Rp191.61 billion, Rp471.47 billion, US$6.51 million and Rp14.79 billion,” the document reads as quoted CNNIndonesia.com, Wednesday (8/9).

In his statement, it was noted that Tutut did not provide asset guarantees to the state. The guarantee provided is only in the form of a project Decree (SK).

In detail, Tutut’s debt to the state comes from PT Citra Mataram Satriamarga amounting to Rp191.61 billion. This debt has never been repaid at all.

Debt management was registered at the State Assets and Auction Service Office (KPKNL) Jakarta V in 2013. The latest management is in the form of a notification of a forced letter.

Furthermore, the debt also came from PT Marga Nurindo Bhakti worth Rp471.47 billion. This debt has been paid in installments of around Rp. 1.09 billion.

Debt management was also registered at KPKNL Jakarta V in 2010. The last management was in the form of a forced letter notification report.

Lastly, it came from PT Citra Bhakti Margatama Persada amounting to Rp14.79 billion and US$6.51 million. Debt management was registered at KPKNL Jakarta V in 2010 with the latest management being a report on notification of forced letters.

However, Tutut has not been directly summoned by the BLBI Task Force in recent times, as was done by the Task Force to Tommy Suharto, his younger brother. Other names that have been called by the BLBI Task Force to return state funds are Ronny Hendrarto, Kaharudin Ongko, to Setiawan Harjono and Hendrawan Harjono.
