Sedima-Ndingler case: Aly Ngouille Ndiaye proposes a “temporary solution”

The Minister of the Interior, Aly Ngouille Ndiaye, made this Saturday, July 18, 2020, a trip to Ndingler in order to find a compromise in the land conflict between Babacar NGOM and the populations of Ndingler.

Babacar Ngom backed down

Following consultations, a provisional solution was proposed, in order to allow farmers to start their field work, at the start of wintering. Babacar NGOM made part of the land under its land title available to the people, representing around one hundred hectares.

Right now, a surveyor has already started the necessary delimitations to allow around forty families to use each of the cultivable land for this wintering. Discussions will continue with a view to finding a final solution.
