Sedesa applies more than 24.4 million doses against COVID-19 in CDMX

After concluding the last day of vaccination against COVID-19 for girls and boys from 5 to 11 years old, which took place from November 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023, the Ministry of Health (Sedesa), through the Health Services Pública de México City reported that, in total, 24 million 460 thousand 987 biologicals have been applied free of charge as part of the National Vaccination Campaign against the virus, in the period from February 15, 2021 to February 28, 2023.

In total, 8 million 659 thousand 387 capital citizens received a dose, a coverage of 100.7 percent of the population that could access the inoculation.

While 8 million 134 thousand 579 people completed their scheme, which means 94.6 percent.

For their part, 7 million 667 thousand 022 citizens have received a biological as reinforcement, which represents 89.2 percent.

The Sedesa recalls that the application of the Abdala vaccine continues for people over 18 years of age, in the 230 Health Centers. It is only required that the last immunization occurred four months ago and to carry the National Vaccination Record.

From December 21, 2022 to March 1, 2023, 178,178 doses of this vaccine have been administered.
