A second floating LNG platform may be coming to Eemshaven. “That is a serious option, which is currently being worked on,” said spokeswoman Marie-Lou Grégoire of Gasunie. If the plans go ahead, the storage capacity of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Eemshaven will be doubled from four to eight billion cubic meters.
