Season 8 “Trial of Champions” ist da!

While the NBA is getting closer and closer to the climax of the season as the playoffs progress, you are also heading towards the last big highlights on the virtual seats of the NBA2K21 MyTeam mode, before you head towards the summer break.

With “Trial of Champions” the eighth season of the popular NBA2K game mode is online since June 4th. As always, there are loads of rewards to be picked up, challenges to be mastered and of course player cards to be collected.

Welcome to the Game of Rings

New season – new season pass. In “Trial of Champions” too, you have to regain XP in order to collect as many of the 40 rewards as possible as quickly as possible. At level 1, a sextet of NBA superstars awaits the players this time, all with an overall rating of 90: Anthony Davies, Ben Simmons, Damian Lillard, Donovan Mitchell, Jayson Tatum and Zion Williamson – the protagonists of the game announced by 2K for Season 8 of Rings. The aim is to score as many points as possible with your favorite player in triple threat offline mode. The players who collect the most points during this time earn a guaranteed locker code for the entire following.

The whole event runs until June 14th.

Of course, the Season Pass brings a few more players with it than the six already mentioned. The main prize at level 40 this time will be Euro superstar Luka Doncic. With an Invincible Dark Matter card, 2K pays the young Slovenian the respect he has earned. In addition to Doncic, the pass also brings six other players with it:

The challenge this time is all about Kevin Durant and the path to his first championship in the jersey of the Golden State Warriors. Anyone who manages to achieve at least 31 points and four threesomes in a game with KD will receive a random Hall of Fame plaque and diamond shoes.

As always, players now have six weeks to add these season-specific cards to their collection. The deadline for the end of Season 8 “Trial of Champions” is expected to be July 16 at 5 pm German time.
