Actor and director Sean Penn appealed to the Academy in an interview with Cnn: make people talk Volodymyr Zelensky during the ceremony of the Oscar. Penn was in Ukraine shooting a documentary when the conflict broke out and there he had the opportunity to meet the Ukrainian president. “If we let Ukraine fight alone, we lose our soul like America,” he said.
