SEA Games Football Standings 2021 After Indonesia Beat the Philippines 4-0

KOMPAS.com – Timas U23 Indonesia managed to beat the Philippines with a score of 4-0 in the third match of the soccer group phase SEA Games 2021 Vietnam.

Success U23 national team Indonesia in defeating the Philippines made a squad Shin Tae-yong it rose to the top of the Group A standings SEA Games football 2021.

U23 national team match Indonesia vs Philippines in the Group A football series SEA Games 2021 held at Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho, Vietnam, on Friday (13/5/2022) afternoon WIB.

U23 National Team Indonesia was able to beat the Philippines thanks to four goals scored by Muhammad Ridwan (18′), Rizky Ridho (44′), Egy Maulana Vikri (75′), and Marselino Ferdinand (85′-penalty).

This is the second win achieved Indonesian U23 National Team in the soccer group stage of the 2021 SEA Games Vietnam.

Previously, the Garuda Muda squad first won 4-1 over Timor Leste in the second match of the group phase, Tuesday (10/5/2022).

Now, Indonesian U23 National Team who started the struggle with a 0-3 defeat to host Vietnam, have the right to climb to the top of the 2021 SEA Games soccer Group A standings.

Egy Maulana Vikri et al temporarily occupy the top rank with a collection of six points from three matches.

Indonesia’s U23 national team is ahead on goal difference over Myanmar, which has also pocketed six points thanks to two wins over Timor Leste and the Philippines.

Myanmar and Vietnam have the opportunity to climb to the top of the standings, ahead of Indonesia, when they compete in the third match of the group phase, Friday (13/5/2022) at 19.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, the Philippines, which lost 0-4 to Indonesia, was stuck in fourth place with a collection of four points.

The Philippines is certain to be eliminated from the 2021 SEA Games football competition because it has played all matches in the group phase so it cannot add any more points.
