In the epistle, they mercilessly deal with the assumption that SARS-CoV-2 spreads mainly through relatively large drops that are released when corona patients cough or sneeze, for example. And say that even smaller droplets – which remain in the air for much longer and can travel much longer distances – can contain and transmit the virus. And with that, SARS-CoV-2 seems to be a virus that can be transmitted by air.
