Lovecraft: I Am Providence – Volume 2 by ST Joshi

Discover the mysteries of HP Lovecraft’s life with S.T. Joshithrough the second part of the biography Lovecraft: I am Providence.

Between myth and reality, who really was Howard Phillips Lovecraft?

Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890-1937) is an author who fascinates as much by his work as by his personality. Having influenced with his fantastic and horrific stories (like The Call of Cthulhu) many writers like Stephen King, his fictions and his life have been subjected to many interpretations that are not always exact, truthful and precise. A specialist in imaginary literature and Lovecraft in particular, ST Joshi has been working on his biography for over 20 years. By its erudition and its scope, it is today considered as the reference at the world level. For the first time in France, under the direction of Christophe Thill and with the assistance of a team of ten translators, this biography is offered to readers.

Lovecraft: I am Providence has been translated by Thomas Bauduret, Erwan Devos, Florence Dolisi, Pierre-Paul Durastanti, Jacques Fuentealba, Hermine Hémon, Annaïg Houesnard, Maxime Le Dain, Arnaud Mousnier-Lompré and Alex Nikolavitch.
This book won the 2020 Special Imaginal Prize and the 2020 Grand Prix de l’Imaginaire in the “essays” category.
