Strong athletes at the meeting in Freistett.

(mu). For the athletes from the region, the 88th Hanauerland Games were a good opportunity to compete in further competitions during the pandemic. Just back from a training camp in South Tyrol, the two athletes from USC Freiburg, Valerie Koppler and Natalie Füllgraf, completed a performance test before the German youth championship. Koppler ran over 200 meters for 27.50 seconds and over the 400 meter distance she won in 59.01 seconds. Füllgraf ran 12.63 seconds over 100 meters and 26.08 seconds over 200 meters.

Hannah Koch (SV Malterdingen) won the shot put with 10.50 meters, in the long jump she achieved a season best with 5.43 meters. Stefanie Schwitalla (SV Waldkirch) also achieved a season best in 12.92 seconds after a long injury over 100 meters. Marius Hipp (TV Riegel) ran a personal best over 400 meters (54.58). Themo Beblashwill (USC Freiburg, U 20) missed victory in second in the long jump with 6.27 meters. Over 100 meters he ran for 11.79 seconds. The squad athletes Noah Fischer (TV Herbolzheim) and Luana Burk (LC Breisgau) came third and second in the javelin throw with 44.53 and 33.73 meters, respectively.
