Corona and school: failures in Middle Franconia
- Gymnasium in Eckental: At the beginning of the week, a corona case occurred in class 6c. The whole class has to be in quarantine for 14 days. In addition, nine children from another sixth grade, who were taught Latin for one day together with 6c.
- Bertolt-Brecht-Gymnasium in Nuremberg: There are currently no classes for the entire 11th grade. A student tested positive for the corona virus. More than 80 students from grade 11 must therefore be in quarantine. That is why lessons are currently taking place digitally.
- Leopold Uhlstein Secondary School in Fürth: At this school, classes for a 7th grade are canceled for two weeks. The reason is a proven corona infection.

School dropouts in Swabia / Allgäu
- Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Gymnasium Weißenhorn (district Neu-Ulm): A teacher at this school was infected with the corona virus. The man and three contacts now have to go into 14-day quarantine. The lessons should continue to take place according to plan for now. The positive corona finding became known after a series of tests by students and teachers.
Lessons during the corona pandemic in Lower Bavaria
- Gymnasium Freyung (Freyung-Grafenau): A student tested positive for Covid-19 and is in quarantine at home. The school does not have to take any further measures.
- Primary school Pfarrkirchen (Rottal-Inn district): A third class is in quarantine and is taught digitally. A student in the grade had tested positive for the virus.
- Primary school Bischofsmais (Regen district): 23 elementary school children and four teachers are currently in quarantine. One teacher has received a positive corona diagnosis, but is already teaching the affected class at this time.
Corona and school in the Upper Palatinate
- High school Lappersdorf (district of Regensburg): Two classes are in quarantine. Before that, a fifth grader tested positive for the corona virus. The affected students have to stay at home until September 22nd and will be taught digitally. - Lobkowitz Secondary School in Neustadt an der Waldnaab: A Covid-19 infection was detected in a 9th grade student. The student is said to be a returnee from Greece. The girl showed no symptoms. Teachers are also affected by the quarantine.
- Middle school Furth im Wald (district Cham): Classes will take place at home until Friday, September 18. The reason is a Covid-19 infection in a teacher, which became known shortly after starting school. There should have been no contact with students, so that they do not have to be in quarantine.

- Ignatius Gropp Primary School Güntersleben (Würzburg district): A student has a positive corona test. The affected child was placed in isolation. Quarantine was ordered for the parents, classmates and two teachers. In the remaining classes, lessons take place as normal.
