The Gelderland municipality of Scherpenzeel will have a new acting mayor in the first week of November. There is no question of the dismissed observer Eppie Klein coming back, as part of the population and the coalition parties in Scherpenzeel want. This was made clear to the Provincial Council on Tuesday evening by the King’s Commissioner John Berends in Gelderland.
