Chairman of the High Council of the Democratic Party, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), stated that he was ready to ‘go down the mountain’ to win Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election. Prabowo opens his voice about the possibility of SBY becoming head of the winning team.
It is known that the coalition supporting Prabowo, namely the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), has not yet decided on the leader of the winning team. When asked about the formation of a winning team and the possibility of appointing SBY as team leader, Prabowo answered briefly.

As previously reported, SBY gave full support to Prabowo and was ready to go down the mountain. SBY himself came to Prabowo’s house in Hambalang, Bogor, last Sunday (17/9).
SBY delivered a speech on the pulpit. Beside SBY, Prabowo stood. In a speech heard by members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), SBY was confident that Prabowo would win the 2024 presidential election. The 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia would help Prabowo.
“I believe, with Allah’s permission, Pak Prabowo’s time to lead us all is through the upcoming presidential election. For you, I am ready to go down the mountain,” said SBY in remarks recorded by the PAN Instagram account, one of the parties that also supports Prabowo.
