He explained, in accordance with the ethics and manners adopted, SBY had called President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to report plans for treatment abroad.
“President Jokowi gave a good response and said that one or two members of the Presidential Doctors Team would assist in the treatment,” he said.
He said that the communication between the Indonesian Doctor Team and the Doctor Team from friendly countries was going well and foreign parties agreed and were willing to handle SBY’s treatment.
“The head of the overseas doctor team, in direct communication with Mr. SBY (via telemedicine), after studying all the health data of Mr. SBY, expressed his optimism to be able to overcome the illness suffered by Mr. SBY,” he said.
