The Ukrainian intelligence service has detailed how Russia plans to annex the Donetsk region first, and then others.
Russia has decided on plans for the occupied Ukrainian territories. The occupiers are preparing for the referendum and are launching a powerful propaganda campaign.

“According to the array of information collected by the Ukrainian special services, the enemy plans to use the pro-Russian organization “Donetsk Republic” to carry out the so-called “expression of will”. Previously, it operated only on the territory of the terrorist organization “DPR”, but now its geography is being expanded. Accordingly, the enemy plans and name change.The most likely option chosen by the occupiers is “Greater Russia,” the SBU notes.
According to the SBU, more than 1,000 “activists” are already active in this formation, who meet daily with the population of the temporarily occupied territories. Among them are agitators, bloggers and “vigilantes” who cooperate with the occupiers.
Dekhtyarenko noted that the Kremlin curators plan to use controlled media resources to reach more than 50 million viewers from Russia and eastern Ukraine with their propaganda. In addition, the invaders are planning to transfer more than 1,000 Russian “experts” and “volunteers” to the region.
“According to the SBU, they should organize illegal mass meetings, spread campaigning in support of a pseudo-referendum and organize election commissions. In the future, they plan to prepare an appeal allegedly from local to the leadership of the occupation administrations about the annexation of Donetsk region to the Russian Federation. The SBU already has several such documents that managed to intercept,” Dekhtyarenko said.
Campaign newspapers are already being printed on the territory of the “DPR”. To bribe the locals, food packages and SIM cards from Russian operators are being prepared.
The enemy is also preparing a network of “activists” for subversive activities in the Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The persons involved have already been identified.
