We are talking about the wife of the former commander of the Donbass volunteer battalion, ex-People’s Deputy Semyon Semenchenko – Natalia Muzyka, sources say.

Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed the illegal activities of a citizen who is suspected of embezzling funds from the accounts of the Donbass Battalion Charity Fund. This is reported on the site intelligence services on Wednesday, November 3.

“The pre-trial investigation established that the woman, having access to the fund’s card account, carried out settlement operations and cash withdrawals. She spent the money on her own needs, not related to the activities of the fund and the battalion,” the message says.

According to the SBU, the investigation has documented the fact of embezzlement and embezzlement of more than 150 thousand hryvnia.

“All this is from the funds that were donated by our compatriots for the needs and development of the volunteer battalion,” the secret service stressed.

The woman was announced on suspicion under the article on theft (part 3 of article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported Interfax-Ukraine citing sources in law enforcement agencies, we are talking about the wife of the former commander of the volunteer battalion of Donbass, ex-people’s deputy Semyon Semenchenko – Natalia Muzyka.

As a reminder, March 24, 2020 the SBU announced the exposure of the paramilitary group, which consisted of more than 150 people. Later accused of creating “PMC” Semenchenko and NABU agent Yevgeny Shevchenko. The security officials claim that the suspects organized a de facto private military company, which are banned in Ukraine.

March 26, 2021 Semenchenko was arrested without the possibility of making a deposit. The ex-people’s deputy said that his arrest was a “provocation of the special services of the Russian Federation,” which wants to stop the work of an organization that fought against PMC Wagner abroad.

On July 14, the Semenchenko court changed the measure of restraint from detention to house arrest. And on July 26, the Solomensky District Court changed the measure of restraint for the former People’s Deputy, again sending him to jail.
