Saudi Embassy in Lebanon Warns Citizens to Leave Areas Witnessing Armed Conflicts

Late Friday, the Saudi embassy in Lebanon called on Saudi citizens to leave Lebanese territory, warning them not to approach areas witnessing armed conflicts.

The embassy said in a statement on the “X” platform, previously Twitter: “The embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Lebanese Republic would like to warn the honorable citizens against being present and approaching areas witnessing armed conflicts.”

She added, “It also calls on citizens to quickly leave Lebanese territory, and the importance of adhering to the decision to prevent Saudis from traveling to Lebanon, while wishing security and safety for all.”

The embassy did not specify the areas that should not be approached, but on August 1, the Kingdom updated its travel directions to Lebanon and advised to avoid “all kinds of unnecessary travel” to areas in southern Lebanon near the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp.
