Sarva Pitru Amavasya 2023: This year Pitru Paksha started from 29th September 2023, which will end tomorrow i.e. 14th October. Tomorrow itself is Sarva Pitru Amavasya. It is also known as Ashwin Amavasya and Pitru Moksha Amavasya. Sarva Pitru Amavasya has special significance in the 16 day long Pitru Paksha. Sarva Pitru Amavasya Par Kare Ye Upay ( Sarva Pitru Amavasya Upay)

To please the ancestors and get their blessings, after taking bath and offering prayers, donate black sesame seeds, curd, white flowers and white clothes to a needy poor Brahmin.
