Saritha Attempted Murder Case: Crime Branch Starts Collecting Phone Records – Crime Branch | Saritha S Nair

Thiruvananthapuram – The criminal branch has started collecting the phone records of driver Vinu Kumar in the case of attempt to kill accused solar case Saritha S. Nair by adding chemicals to her food several times. A notice has been sent to Vinu Kumar for him to appear for questioning. Saritha’s allegation is that Vinu Kumar conspired with the accused in the molestation case filed by Saritha and mixed chemicals in her food. The investigation team hopes this will be clarified after reviewing the phone records.

The Criminal Branch registered the FIR after the initial investigation found that there was no substance to Saritha’s complaint. Vinu Kumar’s house was searched but no information was found to help the investigation. Saritha says that after consuming the chemical, she developed serious physical problems and lost sight in her left eye. There was also a lack of influence in the left leg. Saritha says the information came out when she sought treatment after contracting the disease. High levels of arsenic, mercury and lead have been found in the blood.

In the FIR, it is alleged that Vinu Kumar conspired with the accused in the harassment complaint filed by Saritha with the intention of killing the complainant through fraud and making financial profit. Saritha says the assassination attempt started in 2018. When she encountered physical difficulties, she suspected a poisonous substance but did not press charges because he failed to identify who she was. The complaint also alleged that on 3 January 2022, during the trip, it was understood that Vinu Kumar had mixed the chemical at a juice shop in Karamana.
