Santiago Aparicio appointed Vice President of CEPYME | SER Soria | Today for Today Soria

The Executive Committee of the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CEPYME) has approved, at the proposal of President Gerardo Cuerva, the appointment of Santiago Aparicio as vice president of the Confederation.

Santiago Aparicio Jiménez, current president of FOES and CEOE Castilla y León, In this way, he renews his position in the vice-presidency of CEPYME for the next four years.

CEPYME thus completes the renewal of its Executive Committee, after the General Electoral Assembly held on March 16, in which Gerardo Cuerva was reelected president.

During the Confederation Assembly, reference was made to the serious situation that companies are currently experiencing, especially SMEs and the self-employed, and CEPYME’s commitment to improve their competitiveness, highlighting the leading role that companies and entrepreneurs play.

Likewise, it was insisted that since business organizations will continue to demand the need to reduce the tax burden on companies, reduce prices, eliminate barriers that penalize the growth of companies, fight hard against delinquencies, reduce and simplify bureaucracy and regain market unity, among other measures. Ultimately, it is businesses, which business organizations represent, the foundation of strong welfare systems.
