Sant’Anna Hospital: Cesare Pasqua new medical director of the structure

As part of the reorganization process that Villa Sant’Anna has undertaken with the new Board of Directors, the new Health Director of the facility was appointed today. This was announced by the clinic itself in a press release

Lthe position was taken, with immediate effect, by dr. Cesare Pasqua, already highly esteemed Health Director of the Health Authority of Vibo Valentia, who accepted with full availability.

To Dr. Soccorso Capomolla go to the warmest thanks for the work of these long and delicate months.
The new council team thus intended to give the first sign of a marked discontinuity, motivated by the desire for a complete reorganization of Villa Sant’Anna in all its areas, sectors, services and relationships.
This choice was made necessary following the analyzes carried out by the new Board of Directors in these first weeks of work, activities which suggested postponing official communications until today. In fact, some unexpected complexities emerged which required further investigation.

The new strategic line therefore provides for intervention in all areas, maximizing the enormous potential that the structure already possesses and which over the years has given ample proof of being able to grasp.
The immediate goal is to restart the activity, welcoming patients and offering them the high-level care and assistance that has made Villa Sant’Anna a point of reference for cardiology and heart surgery far beyond the borders of the Region. .

The medium-term objective is to stabilize the Company, normalize relations with the Public Administration, remove all critical issues encountered, definitively preventing the risk of further suspensions. To this end, in the coming weeks, the Board of Directors will initiate discussions with the institutions to illustrate the strategic line.
The long-term goal is to see Villa Sant’Anna fully integrated both in the regional and national health network and in the scientific world.
