The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council will honor this next Tuesday, April 27, the former blue and white soccer player Felipe Miñambres with the Municipality’s Medal of Sporting Merit, in light of his brilliant career as a CD Tenerife player in the 1990s. It was granted by the Municipal Plenary on October 17, 1997, along with those of other personalities, without its delivery then materializing.
