Sandiaga Uno Urges PPP to Focus on February 14, Responds to ‘4 Finger Salute’ Movement

Chairman of Bappilu PPP who is also Chairman of the National Winning Team (TPN) Expert Council Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud Md, Sandiaga Uno, responding to the ‘4 finger salute’ movement that surfaced on social media. Sandiaga wants his party to focus ahead of the voting on February 14 2024.

“Yes, I see it’s very busy on social media, but for us I also gave directions internally, we will focus until February 14,” said Sandiaga after the TPN Expert Council meeting at Corner 28, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Wednesday (31/ 1/2024).

He said TPN was focused on winning Ganjar and Mahfud, not bringing down other candidate pairs. He believes that pair number 3 will be able to uphold clean government when they become leaders.

“We won Pak Ganjar not by overthrowing other candidate pairs, but we won Pak Ganjar because we believe Pak Ganjar and Mahfud are close to the people, fight for jobs, maintain price stability and ensure clean government with law enforcement,” he said.

Previously, a four-finger greeting campaign inviting the public not to vote for candidate pair number 2 Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka appeared on social media. Seen on social media, Saturday (27/1/2023), the four-finger movement invited the public to choose between candidate pair number 1 Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) or candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud Md in the 2024 presidential election.

It was also narrated that the four-finger movement reflects the fourth principle, which means that society is led by and for the people through consensus and democracy. Apart from that, the four-finger symbol depicts the hope of new political forces against dynastic politics.
