“Sandiaga Uno Contemplates Transfer from Gerindra Party to PPP, Announcement to Come”

Sandiaga Uno asked all parties to be patient regarding the certainty regarding his transfer from the Gerindra Party to PPP. Sandiaga said that currently he is still in the final stage of contemplation.

“I said that I asked for time during the last days of the holy month of Ramadan to contemplate and this is the end,” Sandiaga told reporters in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, Friday (21/4/2023) evening.

He said he would soon end the period of contemplation. Sandiaga said that he would make an announcement regarding the final confirmation of his port to PPP.

“Maybe in the next week there will be an announcement, friends, please be patient,” he said

“This is at the end of the holy month of Ramadan, tomorrow we apologize, after that we will convey it to friends,” he concluded.

PPP Waits for Prabowo to Release Sandiaga

Acting General Chair of PPP Muhammad Mardiono previously spoke about Sandiaga Uno’s plan to join PPP. Mardiono said Sandiaga’s announcement as a PPP cadre would await Sandi’s official release at Gerindra by Prabowo Subianto.

“Hopefully yes (Sandiaga will be announced as a PPP cadre in May), hopefully yes. It will depend later if Pak Prabowo has been released, yes, maybe when we can announce that later with Pak Prabowo it has been officially approved, yes, maybe we announce it to friends,” Mardiono told reporters at the PPP DPP Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (19/4).
