This year’s theme will be a tribute to one of the main works of Argentine literature created by José Hernández: “El Gaucho Martín Fierro”. The decision was made because it is the 150th anniversary of its publication. Likewise, this event will pay tribute to the Veterans and Fallen of Malvinas, 40 years after the War.
In this sense, there will be lectures on Martín Fierro by Eduardo Allegri, Sebastián Porrini and Eduardo Lazzari, and presentations of books related to the Malvinas by the authors Matías Rodas and Juan José Mancini. Those interested will also be able to attend a theatrical performance by Martín Fierro, a large guitar ensemble, antics by Malvinera and a gaucho contest.
In addition, this Friday, November 25, from 17:30 to 20:00, the Book Seeding will take place in the Aerobic Corridor, an event where residents will be able to exchange several copies, leaving one of their books and taking another in exchange.
