One of the great highlights in Samsung’s line of monitors now has a new version in the Brazilian market. The Smart Monitor M5, the world’s first do-it-all monitor, is available with a 27-inch screen to ensure more comfort and productivity for users looking for the perfect tool to work, study and play.
The model, perfect for hybrid use, allows browsing the web, editing documents and using video calling apps without the need to connect to a personal computer. The new Workmode, present in this version, is one of the product’s differentials, allowing remote access to another PC, as well as the use of software in the cloud through the Microsoft 365 system¹ and easy synchronization with the brand’s mobile devices through Samsung Dex². Another noteworthy novelty is the Smart TV experience with the new monitor, which allows access to streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube and the free Samsung TV Plus, only with WiFi connection thanks to the native Tizen system.

In addition to using it as a work and study tool, the 27-inch Smart Monitor M5 is able to meet the demands of those who want to use it as a TV, whether to watch different types of content such as series and movies, or to play games – an optimized experience thanks to the Ultrawide Game View³ function, which allows adjustment to the 21:9 aspect ratio, which gives the user more screen space to discover hidden areas in all types of games.
For even better convenience, the Auto Source Switch feature makes the monitor detect newly connected devices as soon as they are plugged in to display the correct signal, no need to search the menu. As for the picture and sound, Adaptive Picture detects light by a sensor to adjust the brightness automatically, while Adaptive Sound adjusts the audio according to the content, whether voices, music or ambient sound that is played through the built-in speakers, providing sounds rich and realistic.
Unparalleled connectivity
The 27-inch Smart Monitor M5 also makes everyday life easier thanks to technologies dedicated to connecting – between people and other smart products. The IoT Hub connects the Smart Monitor to the SmartThings app ecosystem to transform it into the smart home’s command center to, among other commands, turn off lights, lower blinds and adjust the thermostat to the perfect air conditioning temperature, all through the monitor, while AirPlay4 Integration still allows connecting Apple devices to Smart Monitor for a bigger screen view, mirroring apps, documents and web page.
